THE COMPANY
Saucony have been making shoes for virtually every activity for over 100 years. Born in 1898, in a small Pennsylvanian town, the Saucony manufacturing company started making shoes along the banks of the Saucony River. Native American inhabitants of the nearby area coined this name which translated means “Swiftly Running Waters”, a phrase particularly appropriate to the running heritage of the brand.
